When a recliner module doesn’t respond to touch commands, it may be due to a simple connection or power issue. This guide outlines a step-by-step approach to identify and resolve the issue without escalating further.

Check the power connections

Start by confirming all connections are correctly in place:

  • Ensure the power cable is securely plugged into the wall socket, and the socket is switched on.
  • Confirm the power supply is connected and the LED indicator is glowing green.
  • Verify that the extension power cable is connected from the power supply to the module.
  • Check that the extension power cable is firmly plugged into the rear of the recliner module.

Reset the power supply (if still unresponsive)

If the module remains inactive after confirming all connections, the power supply may have overheated. Follow the reset steps below:

Step 1

Turn off the wall power switch and unplug the power cable from the socket.
Wait for 15 minutes to allow the power supply to cool down.

Step 2

Reconnect the power cable and switch the wall socket back on.

Step 3

Check that the LED on the power supply is illuminated green.
